The worldwide machine tool and metalworking world will make its return to the EMO trade fair in Hannover from September 18 to 23, 2023. EMO Hannover will, as it does every time, cover the whole length of the industrial value chain while integrating IT, which is becoming ever-more crucial to the advancement of intelligent factory networking. The exhibits include a wide range of intelligent machining solutions, special purpose machine tools, heavy-duty NC and CNC models, fully automated production lines, multipurpose machines, and flexible manufacturing cells and systems, as well as EDM, laser, plasma, and other less common types of machining. EMO seeks to serve as a forum for dialogue and knowledge exchange on these transformative aspects.

Sustainability is also a key focus in response to evolving legislative frameworks, including Europe's Green Deal. Companies are prompted to rethink their production processes to foster sustainability, adjusting to smaller batch sizes, shorter production cycles, and increased agility. The exhibition features a dedicated area for sustainability, aimed at promoting greener, more energy-efficient production processes. With sustainability now seen as an opportunity for innovation, the event will harness green electricity and utilize electric vehicles for transportation between halls. Even the stands are built with sustainability in mind, using recycled materials.
